Read-A-Long Nursery School and Day Care has been providing quality child care for families in the Whitby and Oshawa areas since our founding in 1985.
Positive Impact on Your Child’s Education
It is our mission to provide a quality learning experience to all of our students, within a caring, family-oriented environment. We believe the best way to achieve this goal is to emphasize the learning aspect in our programs, teaching reading and mathematics from an early age. Our task, as child care providers, is not to eliminate every challenge for our children, but to encourage them to overcome obstacles independently. We believe this unique approach has a very positive impact on your child’s future educational experiences in the regular school systems. Indeed, our former students, many of whom have now graduated from college and university, show the great success of this approach.
We give children the attention they deserve with a small teacher-student ratio
Our staff includes registered early childhood educators (R.E.C.E.)
We encourage language development and offer French in our Kindergarten program
Subsidies are accepted for our Kindergarten, Intermediate and Toddler programs
